The Workshop on the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Primary and Secondary Education, on Saturday 13/4/2024 at the National Technical University of Athens, co-organized by the Open Technologies Organization – EELLAK, Ellinogermaniki Agogi, and the National eTwinning Support Organization, was successfully completed, in cooperation with the Institute of Educational Policy, the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of NTUA, the Department of Computer Science of the Ionian University, the MSc “E-learning, Department of Digital Systems of the University and the Institute of Computer Technology and Publishing “DIOPHANTUS”.
Bringing together experts from the fields of AI, educational technology, pedagogical research and school practice, the conference attempted to systematically present the above issues and provide concrete examples of the use of AI in educational practice. The Workshop also included a series of thematic workshops aimed at highlighting the expected potential of AI in the educational process.
AI4EDU organized a Workshop entitled “AI4EDU Teacher Mate & Study Buddy: Practical Applications of Artificial Intelligence for a more attractive and efficient educational process”, with presenters Mr. Grigoris Milopoulos, Researcher of Educational Technology and Dr. Marios Papaevripidou, Science Teaching, Department of Education, University of Cyprus.
According to the official press release of the organisers, more than 100 teachers attended the event.
