On November 20, 2024, AI4EDU participated in the “AI (Literacy) in Teaching & Learning” webinar, part of the Wednesday Webinars series on Digital & Media Literacy in Europe. This engaging session brought together educators, researchers, and innovators to explore the transformative potential of artificial intelligence in education and the critical importance of fostering AI literacy.

During the session, Marios Papaevripidou and Theodoros Karafyllidis presented AI4EDU’s mission to empower teachers and students across Europe with the skills and resources to effectively engage with AI. A key highlight of their presentation was a live demonstration of Teacher Mate, the AI-powered application developed by AI4EDU to assist teachers in enhancing their teaching practices.

The live demo showcased the application’s practical capabilities, sparking interest and engagement from the audience. Attendees were particularly impressed with the platform’s potential to streamline teaching workflows while fostering a deeper understanding of AI among users.
