On May 30, 2025, we participated in the International Conference on “Inclusive STEAM Education,” organized by the SpicE project (https://spiceacademy.eu/), held at the Hellenic Open University in Patras, Greece, and online. As part of the conference, we presented a talk titled “Innovative AI Tools for Enhancing Inclusive STEAM Education: The Role of Teacher Mate and Study Buddy.”

The session attracted a diverse audience, including educators, researchers, and stakeholders in the field of Inclusive STEAM education. In our presentation, we introduced the AI4EDU project and showcased our two AI-powered applications: Teacher Mate and Study Buddy.

The talk focused on the functionalities and real-world impact of these applications in supporting educators and students. Teacher Mate was presented as a tool designed to enhance teachers’ instructional practices, while Study Buddy was introduced as a personalized learning assistant that offers tailored educational content and exercises aligned with the curricula of Greece, Sweden, Ireland, and Cyprus.

The session concluded with a discussion on the importance of integrating AI tools into inclusive education settings, empowering teachers and students to engage meaningfully with technology in a way that aligns with educational goals.

The presentation was well-received, and we had the opportunity to exchange ideas and feedback with conference attendees, furthering the discussion on the future of AI in Inclusive STEAM education.
