Theodora Kakouri

Personal Information

Theodora works at the Educational Technology Department of the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute (CPI) since September 2018. She holds a PhD degree in Curriculum and Instruction from St. Louis University, an M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the Higher Czech Technical University in Prague, and an M.B.A. degree from Mediterranean Institute of Management in Cyprus. She has served in the private sector both in Cyprus and abroad and has joined the Public Education system as an ICT High School educator since 2001. She served at the Ministry of Education and Culture (MoEC) on secondment as an officer in the National Examination Department and in Curriculum Design Working Groups. She successfully coached students and teachers in several national ICT competitions as well as European Projects. Among her other responsibilities at CPI, she is currently the CPI’s online learning environment administrator and designer as well as the AI thematic section on humanoids and robotics which is included in CPI’s Digitally Supported Learning Environment.
