AI4EDU educational solutions will be widely piloted and evaluated regarding their impact on teaching and learning outcomes, as well as for their usability, acceptance and user experience. The impact of this user-centered evaluation procedures will be to increase our knowledge on the perceptions of the educational community about AI and on end users’ needs. This will provide evidence-based guidelines and best practices or AI systems’ development and implementation, which is expected to support the educational standards for the effective integration of AIEd. Moreover, improved evidence and understanding on target groups, learning and teaching situations in different education systems and effective methodologies and tools that can inspire and stimulate innovation in education is expected as the outcome of the AI4EDU evaluation procedures. At the long term, AI4EDU will contribute to better prepare the educational community for AI-rich educational experiences and environments.
