AI4EDU aspires to increase knowledge and awareness of the importance of human intelligence for the AI effectiveness.

The insights drawn from implementation of AI4EDU solutions in the educational practice will be exploited to demonstrate the potential and limitations of AI systems in the form of short projects.

During these projects the architecture of AI systems will be demonstrated, AI will be decomposed and broken down into individual subsystems and modules, and hands on experiments will be conducted with students and Computer Scientists to exemplify how the AI systems operate, their dependence on data, and the parameters that affect their transparency, ethical behaviour, accuracy and reliability.

This is expected to strengthen students’ and teachers’ confidence on adopting AI for teaching and learning, to support their capacity building in terms of acquisition of required skills and competences to use AI solutions, and eventually to support AI transparent, responsible and ethical deployment in education.
