The key message to inform technology innovation experts in AI4EDU and AI is that education and learning are rapidly evolving fields, and AI has the potential to revolutionize the way we teach and learn. AI-powered educational tools, Personal Intelligent Tutors (PITs), and systems can enhance the learning experience by providing personalized and adaptive learning, real-time, meaningful and focused feedback, and interactive and immersive learning environments.

However, it’s important to approach AI development in education with caution also, as there are ethical and privacy concerns that need to be addressed at all times, as AI evolves and transforms. It’s also essential to ensure that the technology is accessible and inclusive to all learners, regardless of their background or abilities.

Finally, experts in AI4EDU and AI should work towards developing ethical, equitable, and inclusive AI-powered educational tools and systems that will improve the quality and accessibility of education for all learners – ALL learners!  Collaboration with educators, learners, and other stakeholders is crucial to ensure that the technology is designed and implemented in a way that meets the needs of all learners and the education system as a whole.
