On January 25, 2024, the “Breaking the Educational Mould – Disruption and Transformation – 21st Century Teaching and Learning” event took place at the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute in Nicosia. Co-hosted by Drumcondra Education Centre and the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute, the event gathered over 200 participants, including educators, policymakers, and academic professionals from across the EU. Dr. Daithí Ó Murchú delivered a keynote address on innovative teaching practices and the transformative role of AI in education. The event highlighted the AI4EDU project, showcasing tools like Teacher Mate and Study Buddy, which aim to revolutionize education through personalized and interactive learning experiences. Workshops and panel discussions focused on the integration of AI in education, climate action, and sustainability citizenship.
