On September 23, 2024, from 17:00 to 20:00, a seminar was held at the amphitheater of the “Athena” Research Center in Xanthi, targeting secondary education teachers from the region of Thrace. Organized by the Institute for Language and Speech Processing of the Athena Research Center, this event focused on the integration of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) with Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education.

ARC organized this event to raise awareness on Gen AI in education among citizens, school communities, research communities, policy makers and industry partners. AI4EDU prototype was demonstrated to N participants. The event aimed to showcase AI4EDU’s innovative tools, which were developed to transform education by integrating artificial intelligence into the classroom. These AI tools support flexible, personalized, and engaging teaching methods, tailored to meet the demands of digital transformation in education.

During the seminar, Spyridoula Stamouli from the Athena Research Center presented the AI4EDU prototype, demonstrating how it could be applied to enhance learning experiences in schools. The event was well-received by participants, including educators, policymakers, and industry partners, highlighting the growing interest and potential impact of AI in education.
