Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly becoming a cornerstone of educational transformation, enabling unprecedented advancements in personalised learning, administrative efficiency, and teacher professional development. With the emergence of Agentic AI—AI systems that not only react but also proactively shape decisions and processes—the future of education holds immense potential for empowerment and disruption. This manuscript synthesises insights, including UNESCO’s 2024 Competency Frameworks, the EU AI Act, and OECD guidelines, into a comprehensive discussion on the transformative role of Agentic AI in education.
