The 3rd AI4EDU project meeting took place on January 23-24, 2024, in Nicosia, Cyprus, hosted by the University of Cyprus. This meeting aimed to review progress in pedagogical and technical work, refine application designs, and plan the second year of project activities.

On the first day, discussions centered on the outcomes of WP2, showcasing demos and mockups for “Study Buddy,” “Teacher Mate,” and the Teacher Dashboard. Technical evaluations and plans for user interface development were outlined. WP4 discussions addressed usability and technology acceptance methodologies, with initial plans for user pilots finalized. The day concluded with updates on project management and engagement activities.

The second day began with a recap of the previous sessions, moving into WP6 discussions on pilot testing and evaluation methodologies to assess the educational impact of AI4EDU tools. The team refined implementation guidelines and policy recommendations for AI integration under WP7. Outreach and dissemination strategies were a key focus of WP8, where planning for awareness events and communication activities took place. The meeting ended with a review of the Year 2 work plan and the formal closure of discussions, ensuring all partners were aligned on future objectives and responsibilities.
